This reduces the need for sourcing new raw materials, with no need to find them, purchase them and use them to produce new products. The savings from raw materials expenses soon exceeds the investments into the service platform, whether it enables the reuse, repair or recycling of the product and raw materials.

It has been estimated that the circularity of plastics can create globally savings exceeding $100 billion per year for the entire value chain and society – even after all the investments into collection, sorting and recycling of plastics.
