Porvoon Kilpilahteen noussee ensi vuonna kierrätyslaitos, jonka kautta 10 000 tonnia muovijätettä vuodessa käsitellään kemianteollisuuteen raaka-aineeksi. Nykyisin iso jätemuovista Suomessa poltetaan tai viedään kaatopaikalle.

THE FINNISH oil recovery company Lamor plans to build a chemical recycling plant for plastic in Kilpilahti, Porvoo. The company says it signed an agreement with the circular economy company Resiclo on Wednesday.

The recycling facility produces chemically recycled recycled raw material from waste plastic, which can be used in the petrochemical industry to produce recycled plastic and delivered to suitable refineries for further processing.
